Nokia 7 Plus – An Android One smartphone | MWC 2018

Nokia globally announced its another dual-camera smartphone in the lineup – Nokia 7 Plus. HMD Global is bringing Nokia 7 Plus under the Google’s Android One program. Main highlight of Nokia 7 Plus is its dual camera setup with dual-tone LED flash and Zeiss optics. It offers the famous Bothie feature of Nokia 8 too. This phone is the first in Nokia’s lineup to have a 6-inch 18:9 display aspect ratio.

Nokia 7 Plus Specifications

The Nokia 7 Plus runs on Android Oreo and being an Android One smartphone their will be no customization over stock Android Oreo. Company is promising on the regular updates too. Smartphone holds up a 6-inch full-HD+ (2160×1080) IPS display with 18:9 aspect ratio. Display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. From Inside, Nokia 7 Plus is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor coupled with 4GB LPDDR4 RAM.
Phone has inbuilt storage of 64GB, expandable via. microSD card up to 256GB. It offers Dual SIM capability with hybrid card slot for either second SIM card or microSD card.

Connectivity front, it offers 4G with VoLTE, WiFi 802.11, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/A-GPS, NFC, 3.5mm headphone jack and USB Type-C. Sensors Included in the phone are Ambient light sensor, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, E-compass, Gyroscope, Fingerprint Sensor (Rear-facing) and Hall sensor.
Main highlight of this phone is its dual camera setup, comprising of 12MP primary camera with an f/1.75 aperture and 1.4 micron pixels. Secondary camera is a 13MP telephoto shooter with f/2.6 aperture and 1 micron pixels. Secondary camera will help in achieving 2X optical zoom without much loss in picture details. Front camera is a 16MP selfie shooter with Zeiss optics. Battery power packed inside Nokia 7 Plus is 3800mAh.

Nokia 7 Plus Pricing & Availability

The Nokia 7 Plus has been priced at EUR 399 (Rs.31700 approx). As of now, HMD Global has not announced pricing for India. Phone will be available from April and offered in two color variants – Black/Copper and White/Copper.
